Watch moment star gets booked for throwing Luis Suarez’s boot off the pitch as former Liverpool ace rolls around


LUIS SUAREZ was left fuming after his boot was thrown off the pitch during Gremio’s clash against Cruzerio.

The former Liverpool star was starring for Gremio having already put his side ahead in the Brazilian Serie A match.

In the 49th minute, things on the pitch heated up as Suarez, 36, was knocked off the ball on the halfway line.

The Uruguayan was left complaining to the referee as he demanded a free-kick.

To try and sell his case, the striker even kicked his boot off as he continued his protests.

However, Cruzerio’s Marlon was walking by and picked up the boot and chucked it off the side of the pitch.

This angered Suarez even more as he stood up with his arms out by his sides as he vented his frustration.

His complaints were answered as referee Marcelo de Lima Henrique handed Marlon a yellow card.

The moment has gone viral on social media, with many fans loving the gamesmanship on display.

Suarez joined Gremio on a two-year deal in December but has been linked with a move that would see him reunited with Lionel Messi.
