The Argentine maestro flung his arms in the air with joy.

A fourth said: “He’s so cute and small 🥲😍.”

Sadly for Ramos and Messi, the goal would not lead to an inspiring winning goal for PSG and instead, Marseille would snatch the lead back in the 57th minute.

Ruslan Malinovskyi – on loan from Serie A side Atalanta – blasted in a winner from the edge of the box, sending his side into the quarter-finals.

Ramos has admitted that he is happy that their status as rivals has changed now they have the opportunity to play together.

He told PSG TV: “There was suffering for several years playing against Messi.

“I am now enjoying him.

“He is the best player football has ever produced.”
