THIS is the moment Israel and Poland’s U21 sides held a minute’s silence AFTER kick-off.
That’s after Uefa refused to officially observe one before the start of the game.
Poland hosted Israel in Friday’s qualifier for the European U21 Championship.
But Uefa did not sanction a minute’s silence before kick-off to honour the victims of the October 7 attack by Hamas in Israel.
The two sides were clearly not happy with the decision.
And as the whistle blew, players from Israel and Poland remained silent for the first minute for their own tribute to those who were killed.

Staff and supporters also stayed quiet to observe the silence.
And after the tribute was paid, both teams got on with the game.
The match ended up being a lively affair.
But it was Poland who emerged 2-1 victors by the final whistle.

The result means Israel are bottom of Group D.
However, they have only played two matches so far.
And some of their rivals have already taken part in five games.
As for Poland, they top the group ahead of Germany, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Estonia.
