FANS have been left concerned after Jose Enrique wiped out a Soccer AM staffer during the show’s volley challenge.
The former Liverpool and Newcastle star had joined Bolton fans as they took on the task but took a tumble after his effort.
Enrique accidentally lost his balance and landed on James Kirtland, also known as Curly, who was handing balls to Tubes [Peter Dale].
He then needed help after appearing to hurt his ankle in the collision.
After the segment, host John Fendley could be heard saying that Curly was “actually hurt” and asking for people to have some respect.
Many viewers were left concerned about his welfare as one tweeted: “Did look in a right tangle after that collision poor lad. Hope he’s OK.”
