The Prem charged City with 115 breaches of their financial rulebook from 2009-18 and a three-man independent commission will decide a punishment if the club are found guilty.

City have won six Premier Leagues, two FA Cups and six League Cups since 2009.

Boss Guardiola, 52, said: “Come on! Those moments belong to us.

“They absolutely belong to us, regardless of the sentence, they belong to us. Think what we’ve done — nobody can remove that.

The Spaniard sarcastically asked if his club were also to blame for Liverpool star Steven Gerrard’s 2014 Anfield slip against Chelsea.

That error gifted the Blues victory which, ultimately, cost Liverpool the title as City clinched the Prem crown on the final day of the season that year.

Guardiola added: “The goal from Sergio Aguero . . . and I don’t know if we are responsible for Steven Gerrard slipping at Anfield.

“Was that our fault?

“All the moments we lived these years together. The Premier League will decide . . . but I know what we won and the way we won it.

“I know the effort we put in.

“If something happened in 2009 or 2010, it is not going to change one second of it.”
