AUSTRIAN football is in mourning after former international Volkan Kahraman was shot dead in a city street murder-suicide.
The ex-midfielder, 43, won three caps and played for Dutch clubs Feyenoord and Excelsior.
He helped his hometown club Austria Vienna win a league and cup double, and played for other clubs in Austria, Turkey and Greece.
Kahraman later went into local politics as well as becoming a youth coach.
But he was reportedly shot outside a bar in Vienna on Wednesday after an argument with a former friend and business associate.
