It might just be you want to take on our team of celebs, including Piers Morgan, Jeremy Clarkson, Rhian Sugden and Ricky Hatton.

Tom’s offering you lovely, lovely people a head start by revealing his XI ahead of Gameweek 1, which gets underway an hour before Burnley v Manchester City’s kicks off on Friday night.

He’s opted for a 4-4-2 formation and has shown ultimate faith in David Moyes by including THREE players from his beloved West Ham.

Tom’s selections are locked in

Brighton’s Jason Steele (£3m) gets the nod in goal as a potentially smart value-for-money option.

Tom has splashed out on Trent Alexander-Arnold (£6m), who is being tipped for a huge season in a Liverpool shirt.

Aston Villa new boy Pau Torres (£3m) joins Lewis Dunk (£3m) and the Hammers’ Nayef Aguerd (£2.5m) to complete a relatively affordable back four.

A wise businessman, Tom clearly kept some of his budget back so he could afford Bukayo Saka (£6m) and Bruno Fernandes (£6.5m) – a premium midfield pairing.

Jarrod Bowen (£4.5m) is the next West Ham recruit and he’s joined by team-mate Lucas Paqueta (£3m), who Tom has stuck by despite increased speculation the Brazilian may be bound for Manchester City.

Of course, Tom joins 84% of managers in selecting Erling Haaland (£8.5m) to lead his line.

Christopher Nkunku (£4m) was the original pick to partner the prolific Norwegian but an ill-timed injury has forced a change of strategy, with Alexander Isak (£4m) drafted in to complete the XI.
