TNT SPORTS have reportedly axed their coverage of WWE NXT.
The wrestling programme has been shown by TNT Sports and BT Sport since January 2020, with Sky Sports airing it across the UK before that.
But WWE NXT is set to return to life as a WWE Network exclusive show – with viewers able to continue watching if they pay a £9.99 monthly subscription.
TNT Sports’ final broadcast of the show will be on January 3 for NXT New Year’s Evil special, report the Metro.
However the broadcaster will continue to air other WWE shows including Smackdown and Raw events.
WWE NXT pits the best male and female amateur wrestlers against each other, who aim to become WWE’s next breakout star.

Raw and Smackdown mentors also feature in the show, which has aired every Wednesday morning at 1am.
In May 2012, NXT became a developmental programme for WWE, with the stars of the future learning from seasoned veterans in front of a live crowd at Full Sail University.
WWE NXT’s first show of 2024 will see current champion Ilja Dragunov face Trick Williams for the NXT championship.
While the women’s title will be competed for by current champion Lyra Valkyria and Blair Davenport.
