SHAKIRA has hit back at ex Gerard Pique after he became Instagram official with the model he left the superstar for.
Gerard posted a photo of him and his new lover snuggled up on his Instagram yesterday, fuelling the fire between him and his former partner.
Shakira responded with an Instagram post only a few hours after Gerard’s photo with new girlfriend, 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti.
In the video, she can be seen dancing a version of merengue alongside a video of her music video for diss track “BZRP”.
She captioned the Instagram post: “Women don’t cry anymore, women dance merengue!”
One lyric from the smash hit and diss track to her cheating ex reads: “It’s clear that it’s not my fault if they criticize you.”

Gerard’s Instagram post racked up almost 4million likes, but was flooded with criticisms from both fans of Shakira and the former FC Barcelona footballer.
One commented: “I bet her [Clara’s] hips lie.”
Another chimed in: “Enjoy it while it lasts, your kids also see Instagram.”
A passionate fan made her feelings clear: “You could have waited a while couldn’t you? Out of respect for your ex partner?

One simply said: “How much of a d*** do you have to be to leave Shakira?”
The estranged couple’s latest row comes only days after Shakira refused to take down the witch doll which is overlooking her former mother-in-law’s home.
The Colombian singer put the creepy life-size figure on her balcony in Barcelona earlier this month following her split from Gerard last year.
Gerard’s mum Montserrat Bernabéu is said to have stormed over to the Columbian superstar’s home and asked Shakira’s employees to turn it around.
It appears her request fell on deaf ears, however, as Gerard came face to face with the terrifying doll just days ago while arriving to the property for his son Milan’s tenth birthday celebration.
After the celebrity couple split last year, Shakira released the song BZRP as a dig at cheating ex Gerard and his new young girlfriend.
The lyrics have gone viral online: “You’re acting so weird, I don’t even recognize you.
“I’m worth two 22-year-olds. You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo, you traded in a Rolex for a Casio.”
Last summer, Shakira raised suspicions of Gerard’s infidelity over a jar of strawberry jam.
Rumour has it that she knew something was afoot after taking a look in their fridge at their their five-storey mansion.
After returning home from travelling, the superstar noticed a jar of her strawberry jam had been eaten.
Apparently both Gerard and their children, Sasha, 7, and Milan, 10, refuse to eat the strawberry jam.

She believed another woman had been in her home and eaten the jam, so she hired a private investigator to spy on Gerard.
The detective is said to have spotted the Spaniard at a nightclub where his now girlfriend Clara worked.
