FORMER Celtic winger Jota has reportedly left Al-Ittihad just one month after joining the club.
The 24-year-old completed a £25million transfer to the Saudi Pro League side in July.
However, according to reports in Saudi Arabia, he is now set to leave.
The reason behind his shock departure is currently unclear, but some outlets are suggesting that he could be sent on loan.
Jota had made two appearances for the club before leaving.
Prior to his arrival in Saudi Arabia, he spent two years at Celtic.
The Portuguese winger scored 28 goals and provided 26 assists in 83 appearances for the Scottish side.
As well as Jota, Al-Ittihad have signed three top players so far this summer.
Karim Benzema became the first to join the club in a free transfer from Real Madrid at the beginning of June after calling quits on his 14-year spell at the Santiago Bernabeu.
N’Golo Kante followed in a free transfer from Chelsea.
