RYAN Giggs will face another court hearing next month ahead of a re-trial over alleged domestic violence offences.
The ex-Wales and Manchester United footballer, 49, was not present for a pre-trial review on Thursday.
The hearing at Manchester Crown Court dealt with matters ahead of Giggs’ re-trial, which is scheduled to begin on July 31.
The ex-footballer denies controlling or coercive behaviour over a three-year period towards his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville, 38.
He has also pleaded not guilty to assaulting Ms Greville’s sister Emma during a row at his home in Worsley, Greater Manchester, on November 1, 2020.
Jurors failed to reach any verdicts during his first trial in August last year, and a re-trial was ordered.
