ROY KEANE launched a new career as a FASHION MODEL in a new advert alongside his dog.
The no-nonsense hardman took a leaf out of former team-mate David Beckham’s book as he posed for the camera in adidas’ new outdoor range.
In the video, Keane takes his dog Jet for a walk in the Lake District countryside – before driving a boat across the water.
Decked out in the various stylish jackets and trainers ready for winter, he reflected on his career, stepping away from the beautiful game and what a slower pace of life looks like now.
Keane said: “I played to win from when I was eight or nine years of age.
“You were literally on the biggest roller coaster of your life.

“The highs are extreme and the lows… my goodness. But sometimes you have to lose to win.
“The biggest challenge for any sportsperson is actually when your career finishes.
“You almost know you’re never going to reach those highs again but you have to accept that.
“I’ll never get that buzz from anything else in my life.

“Being in the dressing room winning stuff with good team-mates and good players… oh, honestly, it really is amazing.
“Life’s been pretty good to me in terms of my career and my family.
“I actually have a lot of contentment in my life.
“That can go sometimes but generally speaking, yeah I am pretty contented.”
Keane looked a natural in front of the camera after emerging as a popular pundit on Sky Sports and ITV in recent years.
And the former Manchester United captain took the extra step of modelling the adidas autumn-winter gear in his stride – to the delight of fans.
One said: “Never in my life did I expect to see Roy Keane as a model for fashion. Well played whoever has managed to convince him to take part.”
Another wrote: “Keano and adidas Spezial, it doesn’t get any better.”
A third added: “Legend, looks decent in the new gear.”
A fourth typed: “I love this man.”
And a final user simply commented: “Class.”
