REAL Madrid have decided who they want to play alongside Jude Bellingham out of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
The Los Blancos have declared the French icon is a better fit for the England youngster.
It means Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez will now up his chase Mbappe instead of previous target Haaland.
The La Liga giants are looking to replace Karim Benzema, who left the Bernabeu in the summer.
Boss Carlo Ancelotti in the meantime has allowed newcomer Bellingham to move up the pitch to assist Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.
But the Italian is set to recruit a new No9 at the end of the campaign.

Real have a long-standing interest in both Mbappe and Haaland.
And in the summer the French superstar snubbed a move to the Bernabeu and instead signed a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Foot Mercato Ancelotti has not given up on the 24-year-old and has proclaimed Mbappe is the more logical signing.
He is ready to make a huge financial effort to sign a striker and with Haaland looking like he’s not leaving the Etihad any time soon, the Frenchman is the perfect choice.

Perez believes Mbappe would deem to be better off playing alongside Bellingham rather than Haaland – even though the Norwegian was at Borussia Dortmund with the Englishman.
Bellingham has made a triumphant start to life in the Spanish capital, scoring 13 goals in 13 games in La Liga and the Champions League.
Mbappe’s uncertainty with PSG could work in Real Madrid’s favour but the Ligue 1 club could demand a mammoth price for their superstar forward.
