Man City’s goal machine Erling Haaland, 22, is the second most important striker to his team in the Premier League.

The Norwegian has been in immense form this season, scoring a massive 28 goals in 26 league games.

This equates to 39 per cent of Man City’s goals in the division.

Despite, Haaland’s prolific form, Tottenham star Harry Kane, 29. is the most important striker in the league.

The England star may have scored six fewer goals than Haaland but he has had less support from his team-mates.

Kane’s goal contribution is 42 per cent of Spurs’ goal total in the league.

The stat provides more evidence as to why Tottenham must try and keep hold of their star striker beyond the summer transfer window.
