MARCUS RASHFORD and Bruno Fernandes struggled to hold back their smiles when asked about Manchester United’s controversial equaliser.
The two helped turn the Manchester derby on its head with their pair of goals seeing United win 2-1.
But Fernandes’ leveller was contentious as Rashford ran onto a through ball while in an offside position.
The England international just about avoided touching it leaving Fernandes to fire home.
But City argued Rashford interfered in the play and should have been flagged for offside.
Both were quizzed about the phase of play and let out little laughs, though Fernandes defended the decision to allow the goal.

He said: “I was facing the goal, Marcus probably saw I was in a better position.
“I didn’t know if either of us was offside. He didn’t make any influence on the defenders. It is what it is.”
Guardiola disagreed: “Rashford was offside, he distracted our keeper and defenders.”
City had opened the scoring on the hour mark with a header which looked to close the gap on league leaders Arsenal.

But Fernandes controversially hit back on 78 minutes before Rashford won the game four minutes later.
City players fumed after the final whistle and even Chelsea legend Petr Cech voiced his frustration.
Cech tweeted: “The first United goal just proved the people who make the rules don’t understand the game.”
United’s win puts them one point behind champions City and six behind Arsenal.
