ERIK TEN HAG has hit out at four Manchester United stars for costing the team against Brighton.
The Red Devils were bettered by the Seagulls throughout the match but the result was settled after a last-minute Alexis Mac Allister penalty.
The Argentine converted from the spot for the only goal in the game, despite both sides having chances to score.
Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma missed a few chances while United were particularly wasteful in front of goal.
Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Antony and Casemiro all missed good chances and they have felt the wrath of the manager.
Ten Hag did not hold back as he declared that one of the opportunities “had to go in” when he was asked about his team’s performance.

He told Sky Sports: “I think in the first minute it was everything, we created a chance but we didn’t score.
“So we have to be more clinical with our chances in the first half.
“And in the end we gave away a goal, that can’t happen, must not happen.
“We lost maybe a little bit of focus, also a bit unlucky because it was never a free kick where the corner came from.

“So you can’t bounce back anymore but that’s what we have to do on Sunday [against West Ham].
