THIS Premier League cult hero looks unrecognisable as he shows off a massive moustache while posing with his mum.

The former Tottenham and Middlesbrough star made 94 appearances in England’s top division.

The Egyptian also made appearances for Wigan and West Ham.

Overall he netted 22 times, also adding two assists.

He arrived in England with Tottenham in 2005 from Roma on an initial loan move, before it was made permanent the year after.

However, he failed to build on the 11 goals he scored in his first season, scoring just one league goal in his second campaign with Spurs.

The striker was soon shipped to Middlesbrough, but things did not go to plan there either, with him going on four loan moves at the club.

He would ultimately not leave English shores on a permanent basis until 2010.

The mystery star in question? Egyptian forward Mido of course.

On the latest post to his Instagram, which has 1.5million followers, Mido wished his mum a happy birthday.

He shared a picture of himself in a striking T-shirt alongside the caption: “Happy birthday mum ❀️.”

Fans online rushed to offer their own birthday wishes.

Mido was previously seen posing topless on a yacht, while he also recently revealed why his legendary Soccer AM crossbar challenge went so poorly.
