Premier League clubs dealt transfer blow as Napoli boss says ‘priceless’ wonderkid ‘not for sale’

NAPOLI have told Premier League suitors that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is “priceless”.

The Italians are braced for summer bids for their star men after flying to massive 15 point lead in Serie A, as they look destined for a first league title since 1990.

While the likes of Manchester United are circling around hotshot striker Victor Osimhen, Georgian winger Kvaratskhelia has been just as important this season.

Napoli plucked the 22-year-old from obscurity last summer in a bargain £8.8million deal from Dinamo Batumi in his homeland.

He has since earned the nicknamed ‘Kvaradona’ – after Napoli most iconic former star Diego Maradona – after scoring 10 goals and provided 9 assists in 19 Serie A matches this season.

This form has put some of the Premier League’s biggest teams on alert but Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli has dealt interested parties a huge blow.

He said: “Khvicha’s a fantastic player and we want to keep him, it’s not even the case to mention a specific price tag to sell him.”

He continued: “In this moment, Kvaratskhelia is not for sale. The market hasn’t even started.”

The winger has been linked with some of Europe’s biggest sides including Real Madrid, Manchester City and PSG.

Cash rich Newcastle have also registered their interest in recent weeks as the race really starts to hot up.
