PORTSMOUTH are reportedly considering a shock managerial appointment in the form of Spurs and Republic of Ireland legend Robbie Keane.
Pompey sacked head Danny Cowley earlier this week after his side slipped to 12th in the League One table.
He was dismissed with the club having not won a league match since October.
Keane, 42, was in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday as two of his former clubs faced off in the third round of the FA Cup.
Antonio Conte’s men came out on top thanks to a Harry Kane goal as Portsmouth’s winless run was extended to five matches in all competitions.
And very little was made of Keane being in the stands.
