PIERS MORGAN has been left stunned by Erik ten Hag winning November’s Premier League manager of the month.
The Talk TV presenter and Sun columnist has been a vocal critic of the Manchester United boss.
In September Piers called the Dutchman the “real problem” at Old Trafford.
And in the following month he labelled Ten Hag a “total fraud”.
Man Utd’s struggles didn’t end in November, with the Red Devils crashing out of the League Cup by losing 3-0 at home to Newcastle.
They also gave themselves a mountain to climb in the Champions League, botching leads to lose 4-3 at Copenhagen and draw 3-3 at Galatasaray.

In the Premier League, however, they did begin to climb the table.
The Red Devils won all three of their Prem matches in November without conceding a goal, achieving back-to-back 1-0 wins over Fulham and Luton before winning 3-0 at Everton.
United’s victories earned Ten Hag his third Premier League manager of the month award.
Responding to the decision, Piers tweeted: “WHAT???”

He concluded his post with three laughing emojis.
The Red Devils came crashing back down to earth as December rolled around, losing 1-0 at Newcastle last Saturday.
But they showed more green shoots of recovery last time out, however, beating Chelsea 2-1 to climb to sixth, just three points off the top four.
Piers’ pal Cristiano Ronaldo, 38, last year told him that he cannot respect Ten Hag, 53.
During an explosive interview, the Portuguese said: “I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me.
“If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.”
In addition to Ten Hag winning manager of the month, two of his stars scooped up November’s other awards.
Former skipper Harry Maguire was named Prem player of the month.
While Alejandro Garnacho’s overhead kick against Everton received the goal of the month gong.
