Phil Foden shows off driving certificate after passing his test but fans say ‘ain’t no way that’s your middle name’


PHIL FODEN celebrated passing his driving test, but fans were left stunned at one revelation.

Foden, 23, took to social media on Thursday to announce the news.

The Manchester City and England star posed behind a wheel with a Volkswagen logo on it with his thumb up in one hand and holding his practical driving test pass certificate in the other.

However, some fans were left shocked at finding at out Foden’s full name, being particularly taken aback by his middle name.

Where his name was, the certificate read: “Mr Philip Walter Foden.”

And one flabbergasted fan said: “Ain’t no way his middle name is Walter.”

After getting their heads around Foden’s middle name, other fans congratulated Foden on passing his test.

One fan said: “Well done on passing your driving test.”

Foden has scored seven goals and added five assists in 22 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

After four league games without a win – the latest coming in a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa – Foden will be hoping to help Man City win against Luton on Sunday.
