Nottingham Forest have won just one of their last 11 games, seeing them slip down the Premier League table to 16th.

The worst defeat of the lost came at the hands of the Cottagers as Marco Silva’s side ran riot.

Raul Jimenez and Alex Iwobi both bagged braces and Tom Cairney finished off the scoring to wrap up the result.

But it appears that Marinakis did not hang around to see the end of the game.

Having seen enough, the Greek owner was seen leaving his seat before the full-time whistle.

To add to the story, a fan has claimed to have found Marinakis’ pass after leaving the game.

They said that it had been “thrown into a bush in someone’s garden”.

Some fans could not help but comment on social media.

It has not been a good time for Marinakis recently in football.

While Forest have not pulled up many trees, his Greek side Olympiacos also suffered humiliation in the Europa League as they were beaten 5-0 by Freiburg.

Pressure is mounting on manager Steve Cooper, with the club spending heavily since promotion to the Premier League in 2022.

However, fans are still behind the boss as they continued to chant his name while the team was losing.
