Newcastle 2-1 Southampton LIVE SCORE: Guimaraes SENT OFF for horror tackle in Carabao Cup semi-final


NEWCASTLE have reached the Carabao Cup final after beating Southampton 3-1 on aggregate.

The Magpies – who have not won a major trophy since 1955 – won the second leg 2-1 tonight.

Newcastle star midfielder Bruno Guimaraes was sent off for a horror lunge, but he will still be able to play in the final as suspensions are now opened up to all competitions.
