Joelinton’s thunderous strike beat a helpless Mike Maignan in goal for the game’s opener after 33 minutes before Christian Pulisic levelled things up on the hour mark.
Substitute Samuel Chukwueze finished off a stunning AC Milan counter-attack on the 84th minute to break Newcastle hearts and knock the Toon out of Europe.
