JULIAN NAGELSMANN is the current bookies favourite for the Chelsea job – and fans are more than happy about it after a video of him talking tactics resurfaced.
The German coach, 35, is currently on gardening leave so the Blues will reportedly require Bayern Munich’s permission to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
But Chelsea fans are already excited by the prospect of Nagelsmann taking over from the axed Graham Potter.
It comes after footage of a YouTube interview on Bayern Munich’s channel from six months ago resurfaced on social media.
Nagelsmann sat down with Matt LaFleur, head coach of NFL giants the Green Bay Packers.
And Nagelsmann declared the “No6” position in midfield as the most crucial part to any of his team.

“It depends on your philosophy. You wouldn’t get the same answer from every coach, but for me it’s position No6.”
Nagelsmann went on to add: “You need every player but I think the most important player is the position No6 because it’s like the quarterback in American football, nearly the same.

His views had Blues fans salivating about the prospect of Nagelsmann potentially building his team around Enzo Fernandez.
The 22-year-old World Cup winner joined the Blues in January in a mega £107million deal.
In response to the video of Naglesmann, one fan said: “If this guy gets hold of Enzo.”
Another joked: “Julian Nagelsmann it is then.”
And a third supporter said: “Any manager who knows the 6 is the most important player on the pitch, gets my support.”
Elsewhere, SunSport exclusively revealed on Monday night that Luis Enrique has emerged as a frontrunner for the Chelsea job.
Meanwhile, Potter turned down an approach from Leicester just hours after being sacked by Chelsea.
