NEIL WARNOCK is reportedly set to take over at Queens Park Rangers after leaving Huddersfield.
The veteran manager, 74, left his role at Huddersfield last month.
Warnock declared he would not be retiring upon leaving the Terriers in a rare pay-off deal.
And with ex-club QPR sacking Gareth Ainsworth following a 2-1 defeat to Leicester, Warnock may now have a route back into the beautiful game.
According to Sky Sports, the Hoops are set to approach Warnock over the vacant managerial position.
QPR sit 23rd in the Championship following a horror start to the season which has seen them win just two of their 14 games.

It has left them six points from safety.
Warnock has had two previous managerial stints at QPR.
The first saw him take charge in 2010 and before leaving in 2012.
He then returned to Loftus Road in an advisory role in 2015 before taking over as a caretaker boss for one month.

Warnock left his role as an advisor in February 2016.
He has since had spells with Rotherham, Cardiff, Middlesbrough and Huddersfield.
The journeyman manager had announced his retirement from football in April 2022, but could now move into his second job since then.
After leaving Huddersfield, Warnock said: “It’s the club’s [decision], that’s correct.
“But I always told him I’d do it until they were ready and then if they let me know I’d go, and they have let me know so you can’t say fairer than that.
“I’ve not fallen out with anybody. Jake’s come to me and said they want to move on and management’s the next step.
“I think management is the biggest decision they’ll have to make really.”
