MOUSSA DIABY has agreed a £43million transfer to Aston Villa after turning down a massive Saudi deal.
The French winger is set to complete a move to Villa Park from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Diaby has accepted Villa’s offer and is ready to join Unai Emery’s project.
Diaby had been the subject of an approach from Al-Nassr but has instead opted to move to the Premier League.
Villa have been chasing a deal to sign the 24-year-old all summer after securing their return to European football last term.
Manchester United, Newcastle and Arsenal have all been linked with the Frenchman in the past, but it is Villa who have won the race.

Earlier this month, it had been reported that Diaby was having doubts over the move due to his desire to play in the Champions League.
Emery’s side will compete in the Europa Conference League this season, entering the competition in the play-off round.
Despite those doubts, though, he is now on the brink of becoming Villa’s third signing of the summer.
Pau Torres and Youri Tielemans have already joined the club during the current window.
