JOSE MOURINHO has admitted he gets why Bayern Munich and PSG did not understand Renato Sanches.
The Roma boss is losing patience with the midfielder after he suffered another injury on Thursday night.
Sanches was forced off just 28 minutes into their Europa League win over Sheriff Tiraspol.
He has already missed two matches through injury since signing on loan from PSG in August.
Speaking after the match, Mourinho explained: “They [Renato Sanches and Houssem Aouar] have to play, they need rhythm and intensity.
“That’s what Renato is, he’s always at risk, it’s difficult to understand: Bayern didn’t understand him, PSG didn’t understand him and we have difficulties.

“He played 45 minutes on Sunday, then had three days of rest and left after 27 minutes,’ the Portuguese coach added.
“He is always in doubt, it is difficult to understand why he is always injured. Aouar played the necessary time to regain the rhythm of the game.”
Houssem Aouar, another Roma summer signing, has also struggled with injuries but played over an hour in Moldova.
Sanches has been limited to just three appearances since joining Roma and is yet to play more than 45 minutes in a match.

The 26-year-old has struggled with injuries throughout his career, missing 19 matches for PSG just last season alone.
He has been repeatedly hampered with muscular issues, including during his loan spell with Swansea and his time at Lille.
Despite losing Sanches during the first half, Roma were able to beat Sheriff 2-1 thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s 65th minute winner.
