MICAH RICHARDS is still in disbelief that Chelsea got rid of Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian winger spent time in Italy with Roma before sealing a transfer to Liverpool in 2017, where he has since established himself as one of the world’s best attackers.
But prior to his permanent Chelsea departure in 2016, Salah had been starring on loan at Fiorentina in 2015.
While there he played alongside former Manchester City and Aston Villa defender Richards.
And speaking on BBC Sport, Richards revealed a stunning story about Salah from training.
He said: “He was at Fiorentina with me.

“I’ve said it many, many times, I can’t believe it.”
“He was unbelievable. I can’t believe Chelsea let him go on loan. And then he went to Roma.
“He used to get the ball in training, dribble past everyone and just pass it into the net.
“Then he did the exact same in games and I was like: ‘How? Why is he not playing at Chelsea.’

“So I’m thinking in my head: ‘He must be a bad egg’. Because there’s no way it’s on footballing ability and he was the nicest guy ever.”
Salah, now 31, has scored 198 goals for the Reds in 321 total appearances.
He has guided Liverpool to one Premier League title and a Champions League win.
There would be more Prem titles to his name if not for Man City, who he is in action against tomorrow for another pivotal clash at the top of the table.
Meanwhile, Reds icon Mark Lawrenson has insisted they should NOT offer him a new contract and should instead cash in amid interest from Saudi Arabia.
