Micah Richards hides his face after he’s ruined on CBS Sports as brutal footage re-emerges of him captaining Man City

JAMIE CARRAGHER hilariously mocked Micah Richards with a clip of him being roasted by fellow pundit Alessandro Del Piero.

Del Piero, 48, joined Carragher, Richards, Thierry Henry and Kate Abdo for CBS’ Champions League coverage on Wednesday night.

And Carragher took the opportunity to reveal that Del Piero had actually played against Richards.

He then proceeded to bring up a couple of clips from the game – which saw Juventus and Manchester City draw 1-1 in the Europa League in 2010.

The first showed the two captains meeting in the centre circle for the toss before kick-off.

It then rolled on to a clip of Del Piero twisting Richards inside out on the left flank.

The Italian legend eventually cut the ball back for Niccolo Giannetti to score from close range.

And the pundits in the studio fell about laughing at Richards’ inability to get anywhere near Del Piero, leaving the former Man City man embarrassed.

Carragher joked: “At least you won the toss.”

The Liverpool legend then went on to jokingly add: “Is there any clip where anyone has never taken you to the cleaners? Is there anything?”

Taking it in good jest, Richards responded: “No, there’s nothing. Every player.”

And those on social media were loving the interaction.

One said: “Poor Micah hahaha, they destroy him every time 🤣.”

While another added: “I would like to point out this was 2010/11 Del Piero skinning Richards. End product machine even then!! Pure genius forward.”
