MASON Greenwood has been pictured with his Getafe strip as the striker’s shirt number and £75,000-a-week salary were revealed.
Greenwood will wear the number 12 shirt for the Spanish side, his new club has confirmed.
The striker, 21, has been provided with a pathway back to football by the La Liga side following his January arrest for attempted rape, assault and coercive control.
All charges were eventually dropped against Greenwood after the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light.
In a tweet by Getafe’s official account, the footballer was pictured holding up the club’s blue home strip.
The post was captioned: “Mason Greenwood ya esta aqui” which roughly translates to “Mason Greenwood is here”.

The young forward looked happy and appears to be wearing the club’s official training top in the snap.
In another tweet by the club’s official account, Greenwood was filmed greeting Getafe fans in a short video message.
He said: “Hi Getafe fans it’s Mason here.
“I’m so happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started.”

The Spanish club announced the deal at the eleventh hour just minutes before the summer transfer window deadline passed on Friday.
But the move could be cut short as early as January due to a standard break clause in Greenwood’s loan agreement.
It means if Getafe are unhappy with his performance, they could boot him back to Old Trafford.
United will receive no loan fee and will cover the majority of his £75,000-a-week wage during his time in Spain.
A club statement added: “The move enables Greenwood to begin to rebuild his career away from Manchester United.
“The club will continue to offer its support to Mason and his family during this period of transition.”
Getafe announced the move with a video of fans wildly celebrating outside the club’s Coliseum Alfonso Perez stadium.
But Greenwood may not make his debut until September 17, when Getafe host Osasuna.
The striker hasn’t kicked a ball since January 2022 when he was suspended by the Red Devils.
It comes after United announced last week that Greenwood had “mutually agreed” to leave the club following an internal probe into his arrest.

He was charged in October last year but all charges were dropped in February by the Crown Prosecution Service.
There was also interest in signing Greenwood from Lazio, Olympiacos and Red Star Belgrade before he made the move to Spain.
