THE GLAZERS want to sell Manchester United by April with takeover bids expected to be submitted by mid-February, according to a report.
Man Utd’s American ownership put the club up for sale late last year, with any potential deal expected to be worth between £6billion and £8bn.
Red Devils supporters have been calling for a takeover for a number of years and such a deal would bring the Glazers’ 18 years of ownership to an end.
And according to The Telegraph, United have received serious takeover interest from the Middle East, Asia and America.
Formal bids to buy the Old Trafford club are expected by a mid-February deadline.
The club aim to complete a deal within the first quarter, or by the end of April.

The report also goes on to state that British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also continuing to monitor the situation and formal talks are yet to begin.
Boyhood United fan Ratcliffe is believed to be willing to table a figure which would be dependent on the club’s qualification for the Champions League this season.
United could achieve qualification through a top-four finish, or by winning the Europa League.
Erik ten Hag’s men face Barcelona in the round of 32 at the end of next month.

Candidates who expressed an appetite to buy Chelsea last year before Todd Boehly snapped the club up could also make an approach.
Conversations have been held with wealthy Arabic investors and co-owner Avram Glazer even flew to the World Cup in Doha last month and held a number of informal meetings.
