Erik ten Hag’s side beat last season’s Premier League runners-up Arsenal in their previous outing.
Skipper Bruno Fernandes marked his return to the United squad with a goal, while Jadon Sancho also got on the scoresheet in the 2-0 win.
New signing Andre Onana did not make his debut against the Gunners and won’t in San Diego either, as the Red Devils will field an academy side against the League Two team.
Elsewhere, Wrexham began their tour of the US with a 5-0 loss to Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea in North Carolina.
The Hollywood-owned side beat La Galaxy II 4-0 in their second pre-season outing.
