CRYSTAL PALACE only paid £15million for keeper Dean Henderson when they signed him from Manchester United.
But if the England cap succeeds with the Eagles there is £5m in bonuses to be paid to the Reds.
Henderson, 26, has to make 100 appearances for an extra £2.5m so the deal works for both clubs — and Palace won’t have to pay for a couple of years.
And should Palace cash in on Henderson there is a ‘significant’ 15 per cent sell-on to United.
The deal, first revealed here, came after Nottingham Forest haggled over a loan with a view to a buy.
Meanwhile, United are seeking the right home for young striker Joe Hugill.

The former Sunderland prospect, 19, stayed with the Under-21 set-up despite interest in a loan from several clubs but now he needs to step up into the senior game.
Henderson’s days at Old Trafford were numbered after he gave an explosive interview to talkSPORT describing the reason to bench him as “criminal” after receiving “false promises” about his first team position.

He pushed through a loan move to Nottingham Forest, who he helped save themselves in the Premier League last season.
In the summer, he moved from Man Utd to Crystal Palace, despite the Red Devils allowing David De Gea to leave the club.
