MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly sent scouts to watch Porto’s star goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
The Red Devils are believed to be interested in signing a new shot-stopper to replace veteran David De Gea.
The Spaniard came under fire following his errors in United’s Europa League exit at the hands of Sevilla.
During the game, De Gea made two critical errors leading to goals.
Throughout the season, the United star has been able to produce some brilliant saves as well as some costly errors.
Now, according to Portuguese outlet A Bola, United are looking at Costa as a potential replacement.

The Portuguese shot-stopper has been rated as one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe since breaking into the Porto team.
The report has suggested that Costa has a £66million release clause.
If it were to be activated would make him the second most expensive goalkeeper in history.
The potential transfer would only have been beaten by the £71m Chelsea paid for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

However, it would be a bigger investment than the £65m Liverpool paid Roma for Alisson Becker.
Costa is not the only goalkeeper to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Brentford’s David Raya has also been touted with a switch after he rejected two contract offers from the Bees.
De Gea’s contract at United expires at the end of the season, but he is set to sign a new deal on lower waged.
