RIO FERDINAND has revealed the details behind a private chat with Graham Potter.
The Manchester United legend was spotted conversing with the Chelsea boss ahead of the match at West Ham.
Ferdinand was initially hesitant to reveal details of his chat when asked.
He said on BT Sport: “[I was] Just asking about individual players.
“You want to find out how good is he, is he worth the money, they’re the questions we ask. And both positive outcomes.”
After being asked if he could give any insight into the chat, he then said: “Can’t give you anymore. Private conversations, got to keep certain things away.”

Premier League icons Gianfranco Zola and Joe Cole added their analysis ahead of the game, with Cole mentioning how “excited” he was to see Joao Felix in action.
Ferdinand then hopped back into the conversation, revealing: “Funny enough that’s the player I asked [about] straight away.
“He’s the one I wanted to know about, how good is he?
“And it was a glowing report, even from a few players raising their eyebrows at times about some of the stuff he does [in training].

“We want to see that live, we hear about it in training but we want to see it out here today.”
And following his three-game suspension, Felix got off to the perfect start with a crisp volley into the net from Enzo Fernandez’s cross to put Potter’s side 1-0 ahead.
However, despite Chelsea dominance, West Ham found an equaliser after former Blues star Emerson ghosted in at the back post unopposed to put Jarrod Bowen’s flick-on into the net.
