ERIK TEN HAG has confirmed contract discussions are ongoing for four Manchester United players.
The Red Devils boss has revealed talks are underway with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof and Hannibal Mejbri.
All four players are currently out of contract at the end of the season, although the club have the option to extend those deals by a year.
Discussing the situation, Ten Hag explained: “Those contracts are in our mindset, we are discussing things internally.”
The news shocked United supporters, who were quick to react to his comments on social media.
One fan wrote: “Contracts for Martial in 2024?? Is this playing? What kind of play is this?”

Another commented: “You want to renew Anthony Martial and Lindelof? I have never seen a more unserious club.”
Meanwhile, a third supporter also added: “No way they are offering martial to stay.”
Martial has struggled for form in front of goal so far this season.
The Frenchman has scored just once in 12 Premier League appearances as he battles for a starting spot with Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund’s summer arrival has limited Martial to just five league starts for the Red Devils.
He was on form in the recent win over Everton, though, scoring and providing an assist as United cruised to a 3-0 victory.
Martial also started against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, although fans were not happy.
