MANCHESTER UNITED fans hailed the return of “GOAT” Federico Macheda.
The Italian was a guest at Old Trafford for United’s final game of the season against Fulham.
And as he spoke to the club’s in-house channel, fans were loving Macheda’s appearance at the ground.
One said: “Federico Macheda at Old Trafford.”
Another added: “goat.”
One tweeted: “Welcome back.”

Macheda signed for United at 16 and became a cult hero at the club.
He famously came off the bench in 2009 to score the winner against Aston Villa with just moments to go.
Macheda brilliantly cut the ball back and curled home to settle the game at 3-2.

The striker then scored in his next league match after the ball ricocheted off him against Sunderland.
Despite hitting the heights for United early into his senior career, Macheda failed to hold down a regular space in the squad.
He was loaned out six times while in Manchester before ultimately leaving for Cardiff in 2014, after 36 appearances in five goals.
Macheda, 31, is now on loan at APOEL in Cyprus but signed to Turkish side MKE Ankaragucu.
