Man Utd fans fume as Jack Grealish gets away with neck grab that ‘Casemiro would be deported back to Brazil for’

MANCHESTER UNITED fans were left seething after Manchester City star Jack Grealish got away with a move that previously landed Casemiro in hot water.

City defeated Arsenal 4-1 on Wednesday in a crucial Premier League clash that may have decided the title in the defending champions’ favour at the Etihad.

But during the game, Grealish appeared to grab Thomas Partey’s collar as he got his hands close to the midfielder’s neck.

This comes after United star Casemiro was sent off for grabbing Crystal Palace ace Will Hughes’ throat in February.

The Brazil international was also handed a three-match ban, whereas the City star got away with only a yellow card.

United fans were fuming after that call and took to Twitter claiming there are double standards.

One fan tweeted: “If it was Casemiro ….. He’d be banned from football for life & deported back to Brazil.”

Another posted: “Probably added to death row too.”

A third said: “Me and my son were discussing this. There is no consistency. If Casemiro’s was a Red then so was this.”

This fan commented: “For sure….it’s poor! Grealish needs to be banned just like Casemiro.”

And that one stated: “I hope FA looks at this for sure, if the rules are rules..”

This also comes after Casemiro was handed a four-match ban following a studs-up tackle on Southampton ace Carlos Alcaraz in March.

Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone performed a similar challenge a month later but only received a yellow card.
