MANCHESTER UNITED fans are convinced their “Treble charge starts today” after spotting Kobbie Mainoo back in training.
The teenager dazzled for the Red Devils in pre-season before suffering an ankle injury against Real Madrid.
He has been sidelined since but now looks on the verge of making a return to action.
Mainoo was seen training with the rest of the first-team on Monday as United prepare to host Galatasaray on Tuesday.
Reacting to the 18-year-old’s potential return, one fan wrote: “Treble charge starts today.”
Another added: “I hate overhyping youngsters but this dude is special man. I can’t wait.”

Meanwhile, a third also commented: “Soon we’ll be saved.”
Mainoo has made three senior United appearances since being handed his debut in January.
The academy graduate starred in his side’s pre-season friendly against Leeds in the summer.
However, he was later injured in their clash with Real Madrid during the tour of the USA.

Mainoo teased his comeback last month, though, during an exchange with Bruno Fernandes on Instagram.
Writing in the comments under one of his posts, the England youth international replied “not too long brother” after Fernandes asked when he could see him on the pitch again.
Erik ten Hag is also an admirer of Mainoo, hinting back in August that he would be part of the first-team this season.
Mainoo’s return to training comes ahead of the Red Devils’ second Champions League group stage match on Tuesday night.
United host Turkish champions Galatasaray as they look to bounce back from their opening loss to Bayern Munich.
Ten Hag’s side are also hoping for a distraction from their slow start to the new Premier League season.
Saturday’s home defeat against Crystal Palace leaves United in 10th, having lost four of their first seven matches.
