MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly considering Victor Osimhen and Dusan Vlahovic as potential transfer alternatives to Harry Kane.
Erik ten Hag has prioritised signing a striker this summer, with Wout Weghorst set to return to parent club Burnley.
Tottenham striker Kane has emerged as his top target, but it could prove to be a challenge to tempt him away from north London.
Although the 29-year-old has just one year left on his contract, the Lilywhites are refusing to sell him for anything less than £100million this summer.
So Man Utd have identified two potential alternatives.
According to Daily Mail, United’s senior staff members have checked on Napoli striker Osimhen and Juventus star Vlahovic in recent weeks.

Osimhen is expected to be the more expensive option, with Napoli holding out for a fee of £130m.
Meanwhile, Vlahovic could set the Red Devils back £80m.
Both players are also on Chelsea’s radar.
Ten Hag is also eager to add a young attacker to his ranks.

Evan Ferguson was initially on his transfer wishlist, but he recently penned a new long-term deal with Brighton and is expected to stay at the Amex beyond the summer.
The United boss is also considering a swoop for Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund, who is expected to cost around £40million.
The 20-year-old, who joined the club in a £15m move from Sturm Graz last summer, has scored seven goals in 29 Serie A appearances for the Black and Blues this season.
