MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea have entered the running to sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya, according to reports.
Raya has entered the final 18 months of his contract in West London and has been heavily linked with a summer exit.
Tottenham are also monitoring his progress as they search for a Hugo Lloris replacement.
But according to the Telegraph, he’s also caught the eye of United and Chelsea, who both have issues between the sticks.
The Blues have doubts over Edouard Mendy’s long-term future, while Kepa Arrizabalaga’s form remains questionable despite overtaking the Senegal star in the pecking order.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils have concerns about David de Gea with the Spaniard’s deal at Old Trafford expiring at the end of the season.

De Gea would reportedly be happy to stay but United appear unwilling to trigger a 12-month extension to his contract.
As for Raya, he’s performed superbly since he arrived at Brentford from Blackburn in 2019.
And he’s specifically caught the attention since the Bees’ promotion, keeping 14 clean sheets in 43 Prem appearances.
His impressive distribution will also surely be a factor for Erik ten Hag, who’s previously raised questions about De Gea’s ability with his feet.
