Erik ten Hag’s side are aiming to end a silverware drought dating back to 2017 by lifting the famous old trophy.

Man United overcame Everton 3-1 at Old Trafford under the lights on Friday night, while Reading beat Watford 2-0.

The clash will see Royals boss Paul Ince return to Old Trafford, where he became a legendary figure as a player.

Manchester City, who easily overcame a poor Chelsea at the Etihad could have to play Premier League leaders Arsenal in round four.
