The action continued right to the final seconds, with both teams having chances to win the game in a breathless finale.
Sunday’s encounter at Anfield had everything, including assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis appearing to elbow Liverpool star Andy Robertson.
When the final whistle finally blew, some fans on social media were left calling it the “game of the season”.
An incredible last minute of action saw Aaron Ramsdale palm away a Mohamed Salah effort that was destined for the top corner.
Ramsdale then came to Arsenal’s rescue again – acrobatically keeping out an Ibrahima Konate effort when it looked easier for the Liverpool man to score than miss.
