LIVERPOOL are NOT in the race to sign Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.
Mbappe, 24, has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks.
The Reds were said to be “exploring the financial and sporting parameters involved” in signing the Frenchman.
However, transfer journalist Florian Plettenberg claims Liverpool have decided against pursuing a deal.
Mbappe could become a free agent in July if he decides against triggering his one-year contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain.
However, PSG officials are currently relaxed about his situation as they are “financially secured” for his possible departure.

Arsenal are also allegedly interested in signing the forward.
However, Real Madrid is understood to be the most realistic destination for him.
With a deal for Mbappe now highly unlikely, Liverpool are set to turn attention elsewhere.
And according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Reds have shown an interest in OGC Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram.
