LAURA WOODS brilliantly responded after being given a brutal description of what to expect from Geordies amid her romance with Adam Collard.
The TNT Sports presenter was in position at St James’ Park ahead of Newcastle’s Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund.
Woods, 36, recently broke hearts as she went official with the Love Island star from Newcastle.
However, according to former Magpies star Les Ferdinand, she may have to deal with being second best at times.
During TNT Sports’ coverage of the European tie, Ferdinand claimed that football is the most important thing in the area.
Ferdinand told Woods it was “football, the wife and then work” up in North East, leaving the presenter looking shocked at first.

Woods was then able to brilliantly respond as she jibed back as she appeared to say: “What about the wife and work?”
Ferdinand then simply claimed that “football is everything” in the community.
Last month, The Sun revealed that Woods had enjoyed a string of dates with Collard.
They then became official and last week were spotted on a romantic dog walk in London after Laura posted her own snaps with very intimate pictures of Adam in bed and on the sofa.

The reality TV star has now revealed how he managed to bag his first date with the TV presenter.
He told The Sun: “The first time we met – I’ll hold my hands up – I did DM her first and got a reply but then nothing ever happened.
“Then she called us out for basically leaving her on read.
“It’s hard to meet people, isn’t it? I’m from Newcastle and eventually we met up, and then went on a very undercover date, and obviously what comes out in the press, comes out in the press, but it’s not always the full story.
“I’m kind of glad in a way as well, as I feel like there’s an element of having to hide too much now.”
Woods is still a favourite among sports fans. However, they have had to come to terms with her no longer being available.
