KEVIN DE BRUYNE was forced off in a Champions League final AGAIN after a muscle injury against Inter Milan.
The Belgian star suffered a leg issue and was replaced by Phil Foden in the 36th minute.
De Bruyne’s heartache comes two years after he suffered a horrifying facial injury following a thunderous challenge by ex-Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
He was forced off on the hour mark in 2021, replacd by Gabriel Jesus.
City went on to lose 1-0 to the Blues in Porto, courtesy of Kai Havertz’s strike.
De Bruyne appeared to be hampered by a hamstring injury this year.

On this occasion the 31-year-old attempted to hobble on for a few minutes.
But after trying to put a cross in, De Bruyne motioned for boss Pep Guardiola to take him off.
He was then promptly removed, with England ace Foden given a chance to shine.
City fans on social media were left devastated by their star man’s injury.
