JURGEN KLOPP has rapped the decision to hand his Liverpool side a lunchtime showdown with Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s Prem champions will host Klopp’s side in a clash of the top-two at 12.30pm a week on Saturday.
The Etihad match — immediately after the international break — will be shown on TNT Sports.
But Klopp, whose side beat Brentford 3-0 yesterday, fears travel fatigue could ruin the spectacle.
He asked: “How can you put a game like this on Saturday at 12.30pm?
“Honestly, the people making the decisions, they cannot feel football.

“It is just not possible. This is the moment the world pays the most to see a football game.”
Players from both clubs will be involved in World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
City’s Ederson and Julian Alvarez, plus Liverpool’s Alisson and Alexis Mac Allister, are likely to feature as Brazil take on Argentina.
Darwin Nunez will also be on duty for Uruguay.

Klopp added: “The players will all come back on the same plane, all the South American players, picking them up from different countries.
“You have to fight your way through the most difficult league in the world and be ready on Thursday and on Sunday and Thursday.
“And if the Premier League has the opportunity to do it — be ready on Saturday at 12.30pm!”
