JORGINHO has revealed why he left Chelsea for Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The Italian midfielder, 31, made the switch to the Emirates on deadline day in a surprise move across London.

Speaking to DAZN, he said: “I had spoken to Chelsea and I knew I was no longer part of their plans.
“Sometimes you must accept when you are out of a project, things come to an end.

Jorginho enjoyed a successful four-and-a-half-year spell at Stamford Bridge after arriving from Napoli for £50million in 2018.
He played more than 200 times for the Blues, winning the Champions League and Europa League.
But the Premier League title continued to allude him during his time at Chelsea.

Arsenal sit top of the table, two points clear of defending champions Manchester City with a game in hand.
And Jorginho is set to play a big role in their run-in following Thomas Partey’s injury.
