JAMIE REDKNAPP took the brunt of the chants from Manchester United fans while covering the game as a pundit.
The retired midfielder, 49, was on duty with Sky Sports for the coverage of the Red Devils’ victory over Chelsea in the Premier League.
However, being a former Liverpool star, Redknapp became the target of the fans at half-time.
The Old Trafford faithful started an X-rated chant directed at him, singing: “Jamie Redknapp you’re a w****r, you’re a w****r.”
Redknapp was left chuckling at the chant as was his co-pundit and former Chelsea star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who could be seen laughing.
At full-time, while commenting on a no-look pass from United star Casemiro, Redknapp got his own back as he referred to it as a “Roberto Firmino pass” in reference to the Liverpool favourite.

Sky Sports host Kelly Cates then replied saying: “They won’t like that here.”
To which Redknapp said: “I don’t care, I’ve taken enough stick tonight.”
A clip of the moment went viral on Twitter, with many applauding Redknapp for taking it on the chin.
One commented: “Heβs fully embracing the hate ππ warra bloke.”
